Mrs. Herninko and several students from Union School welcomed 3rd graders from Washington School for a STEM experience to remember. The 3rd graders used zSpace to work with 3D models of animals and learn more about their adaptations. They were taught by our 3D printing team how to use TinkerCAD and all were able to 3D print their own personal keychains.
Union School students instructed the 3rd graders on how to use the sewing machines. They visited with Mr. Helphingstine's robotics team and were able to drive the robots and compete with each other. The Union School students who helped Mrs. Herninko are commended for volunteering their time and expertise. Everyone had a great experience!
