November is an exciting month on Park Avenue. Three new restaurants will be celebrating Grand Openings. Each dining location will offer different cuisines and unique atmospheres. This is Rutherford spoke with the owners of these new restaurants to learn more about their locations, hours, cuisine, and interest in the Rutherford community.
Fiorentini Restaurant at 98 Park Ave will have its Grand Opening on November 18 at 5 pm.
The restaurant will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5.00-9:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00-10 pm, and Sundays from 5:00-9 pm.
Owner, Brenda De Ieso described Fiorentini's cuisine, "A fresh and new concept 'Farm to Table'. Chef Antonio, an authentic Italian native, is bringing his own worldwide knowledge to his Italian roots. The seasonal menu concentrates on using premium seasonal naturally-raised meats, sustainable wild seafood, and the freshest farm herbs."
Some of the favorite dishes at Fiorentini include Farm beets salad, Mediterranean Octopus, NJ Black Sea Bass, and Pappa al Pomodoro.

When asked to tell us more about the atmosphere of the restaurant Brenda De Ieso told TIR, "The elegant yet approachable cuisine, atmosphere, and service deliver a holistic hospitality experience for our diners. We endeavor to concoct authentic food that's offered in a refined, well-thought-out way because we want you to participate in a full culinary experience."
"We are dedicated to the triple bottom line —planet, people, and profit—our team aspires to make our eatery as environmentally conscious as possible. From waste to water, chemicals to disposables, to locally sourced ingredients to the materials we use to furnish our space, sustainability is continuously at the heart of what we do. We couldn't have picked a better town than the Borough of Trees and the community has been incredibly supportive of us!" explained Brenda.
Song E Napule at 106 Park Ave will have its Grand Opening later this month. Their restaurant hours will be 11 am to 10 pm, seven days per week. Song E Napule has another location in NYC on 146 W Houston Street.
Owner Manuel Coccaro describes the cuisine as "Neapolitan-based cuisine using only products imported from Italy." Some of the favorite dishes at Song E Napule include Paccheri Genovese, Polpo alla Luciana, Pizza Margherita, Polpette, and Parmigiana Di Melanzane.
As for the atmosphere of the restaurant, Manuel Coccaro, explains "You feel like you are home with your family. We have a very friendly and professional staff."
"We are excited and honored to be part of this beautiful community because of the lifestyle and its friendly inhabitants," Manuel told TIR.
Steven's Cafe located at 106 Park Avenue will have its Grand Opening later this month as well. The Cafe will be open 7 days a week 6 am-8 pm. Owner, Steve Incekara, also has a cafe and juice bar in Weehawken along the waterfront.
When asked about the menu items at Steven's Cafe Steve Incekara explained, "We will be offering Coffee, Tea, Juices, Smoothies, Acai bowls, bagels, breakfast sandwiches/wraps, and Gelato. Some of my personal favorites are The Detox, Peanut butter Bliss smoothie, and our organic Greek yogurt parfaits."
Steve explained, "The atmosphere is one of a trendy vibe. I created this space in the hopes that everyone would be able to enjoy themselves."
"I am excited to be a part of the Rutherford community because of the sense of community the town generates. The town has a special charm that is immediately noticed upon arrival. I look forward to continuing that tradition and adding to it as well," Steve told TIR.
