On January 21st, Felician's Golden Falcons Women's Swim Team won during a tri-meet with Fairleigh Dickinson - Florham and Western Connecticut State. Felician's final score against Western Connecticut State was 153.00-31.00 and 130.00-77.00 against FDU - Florham.

Women 200 Yard Medley Relay
Felician had one team in the water consisting of Cleo Kepka (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ), Christine Fabo Mbite (South Africa), Laeyah Montalvo (Bogota, NJ), and Katinka Ummels (Urmond, Netherlands). The crew tapped the wall first, 10-seconds ahead of an FDU team, at 1:55.69.
Women 1000 Yard Freestyle
The Golden Falcons secured the first and second place spots. Salma Nuino Galan (Logrono, Spain) finished first at 11:18.18 and Tijana Lukic (Krusevac, Serbia) finished second at 11:49.47.
Women 200 Yard Freestyle
Jennifer Nyblom (Rosersberg, Sweden) posted a time of 1:59.98 in first and Ximena Galicia (Passaic, NJ) came in fourth at 2:17.55.
Women 50 Yard Freestyle
Dedrie Higgs (Freeport, Bahamas) clocked in first at 25.07, Ummels in third at 26.10 and Isabella Bertossi (Ballito, South Africa) came in fifth at 27.63.
Women 200 Yard IM
Newcomer, Fabo Mbite, finished first at 2:16 and Stephanie Schneider (Ainring, Germany) clocked in at 2:27.39 in fourth.
Women 100 Yard Butterfly
Kepka came in first after tapping the wall at 59.96 and Montalvo was in third with a time of 1:04.43.
Women 100 Yard Freestyle
Nybolm and Higgs secured the first and second place spot with Nyblom finishing first at 55.29 and Higgs just behind her at 55.89.
Women 100 Yard Backstroke
Schneider finished second at 1:08 and Galicia finished in fifth at 1:13.97.
Women 500 Yard Freestyle
Once again, Felician sits in the first and second place spot in the event. Nuino Galan tapped the wall first at 5:29.26 and Lukic finished second at 5:39.09.
Women 100 Yard Breaststroke
Fabo Mbite clinched the first-place spot with a time of 1:08.58 and Bertossi finished in fourth at 1:19.53.
Women 200 Yard Freestyle Relay
In the final event of the meet, Felician had two-teams in the water to secure second and third place.
Team 1 in second place – Nyblom, Nuino Galan, Ummels, Lukic (1:43.86)
Team 2 in third place – Kepka, Montalvo, Schneider, and Galicia (1:50.69)
Women's Swimming will take a two-week break and will be back in action on Feb. 4 as they head to East Stroudsburg.
