Event Recap: Rutherford Swim Association

On Friday, September 27th, 2019, the Rutherford Swim Association opened its doors to the public.

From left to right: Joseph Kelly Rutherford Board of Education Business Administrator, Dr. Sergio Alati member of the Rutherford Board of Education, Michael Lazzara President and Co-Founder of Rutherford Swim Association, Kathleen Hansen Branch Manager of BCB Bank Rutherford, James Rizzo Director of BCB Bank Rutherford, Christopher Dunn Vice President and Co-Founder Rutherford Swim Association and Rutherford Councilman Mark Goldsack.

Rutherford Swim Association was granted a donation from BCB Bank to change out the starting blocks for the Rutherford High School team.

Since September 1st, the founders of the Rutherford Swim Association have worked very hard on making small improvements to their facility. The pool now represents the high school and the community with the new "Bulldog Blue" color.

All Rutherford Swim Association's signs and logos were designed by Rutherford Resident Julia Segedin.
