The last Saturday of October, a beautiful, bright sunny day, was the perfect day for Rutherford’s Ragamuffin Parade. The Ragamuffin Parade, a 44 year tradition, takes place the last Saturday before Halloween. This year families gathered at Rutherford High School on Elliot Place on October 26th and marched down the streets to Lincoln Park.
Families dressed as a variety of characters and even decorated wagons and strollers to go along with their costume themes. There were so many participants this year and the judges had a difficult task choosing the winners.
