Center for Hope & Safety's Sip for Safety

By Jennifer Ersalesi

Sip for Safety is a wine tasting event at the Williams Center in Rutherford to honor the memory of Michele Sabia, who was a teacher at Rutherford’s Washington School at the time of her death in 2016, when she was fatally shot by her husband. Her father, Pete Miragliotta, is a Center for Hope & Safety board member and advocate for domestic violence prevention and awareness. To learn more about the Center for Hope and Safety, click here.

Please join us on October 9, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., to continue Center for Hope & Safety’s mission of fostering healing and change for adults and children throughout Bergen County who are victims and survivors of domestic violence. Artwork from survivors of domestic violence will also be on display.
