TIR: How long has the Dan Meredith Agency office been in Rutherford?
Dan Meredith: Our agency is a family-owned business that has been located at 50 Union Ave in Rutherford for almost 15 years.
TIR: Which services does your office provide?
DM: Our agency provides life insurance and financial services, including term life, whole life, universal life, long-term care, annuities, mutual funds, unit investment trusts, and retirement planning. Small business insurance, including general liability, commercial auto, professional liability, home-based, and Main St. business insurance. House and condo insurance (Homeowners), renters' insurance, umbrella insurance, flood insurance, auto insurance, classic car insurance, and more.
TIR: How do you and your co-workers help your clients get the proper insurance coverage?
DM: Our agents and staff are very knowledgeable about our products and have been part of our agency family for a long time. Our agency acts as a team to provide the best coverage and service available to our clients.
TIR: How does Allstate give back to the local community?
DM: Our agency is actively involved in our community, volunteering and supporting several local charity organizations. Giving back to the community we serve and helping others is a passion and business model that we hold dear and makes us happy and proud to be small business owners. Being Allstate agents has also allowed us to work together with The Allstate Foundation, enhancing these relationships in the form of much-needed funding, with Helping Hands grants, and sponsorships.
TIR: What else would you like us to know about your agency?
DM: We live and work in Rutherford and so do our agents and staff. Our agency is invested in the local community, with a brick-and-mortar location on the corner of Union Ave and Chestnut St in Rutherford. Walk-ins are welcome and we still believe in one-on-one communication with our clients, so they have a familiar name and a familiar face when they need to use our services. We are in the business of protecting what matters most to our clients, we build our relationships based on trust, knowledge of our industry, and professionalism. We are proud to be a local Allstate agency.
