91st Annual Baby Parade 2023

Updated: Jul 9, 2023

By Jennifer Ersalesi

On Saturday, July 1st, the 91st Annual Baby Parade started on Elliot Place at Rutherford High School and made its way to Lincoln Park. Participants looped around the park twice so that the panel of judges could take a close look at all of the costumes and floats. As in years past, families were very creative and there were costumes ranging from astronauts to apple pie bakers alongside a giant apple pie to an eagle in a nest. Many generations of families have participated in this parade over the last ninety-one years, which makes this Rutherford tradition a particularly special one.
